You will need your Member ID to verify your eligibility.
You'll also answer a few questions about who you're caring for: their name, location, conditions, and the top priorities. The more specific you are, the more accurate our Care Coordinator matching algorithm will be! There is a green bar at the top that tracks your progress in the questionnaire. Please be sure not to leave the page until it’s completed, or you may need to wait longer to get a matched Coordinator and begin getting assistance.
There is a silent, massive caregiving crisis impacting families, companies, and our country. This is caused by a confluence of factors — we have a large aging population who will live longer with more chronic conditions than ever before, families live further apart from one another, and our healthcare and eldercare systems are the most complex, opaque, and expensive in history. As a result, families managing complex care are extremely stressed and overwhelmed. We want to make their lives easier!
With Wellthy, families get assigned a dedicated Care Coordinator (think: personal healthcare project manager) who:
You can use Wellthy to help with caring for your parents, in-laws, children, spouses, and siblings. We will dive in and help out regardless of the relationship as long as it is a close enough relationship that care needs are impacting you. Family members do not need to be listed as a dependent on your health plan to be eligible for Wellthy’s support.
We ask that you’re responsive and respectful of our Care Coordinators and their time. We want to do the best we can to support your family, but sometimes this requires us to gather additional information and guidance from you. The more you can share with us, the more helpful we can be!
The information you provide us upon onboarding is shared with your Care Coordinator. Information you provide to us throughout the course of your Care Project may also be shared with Care Advisers, our in-house experts, who assist your Care Coordinator in completing various tasks. This is known as your Care Team. In some cases, in order to continue arranging care, additional information may need to be shared from / disclosed to Wellthy by providers of Care. This requires proper authorization via our Authorization Form, which must be signed by the person receiving care (either yourself or your loved one) before proceeding. Additional information on how we share information can be found in Section 4 of our Privacy Policy.
Whether you are signing up for Wellthy for yourself or a loved one, the primary use of the information you provide us is to match you with a Care Coordinator and provide support on behalf of yourself or your family member(s). Additional information on how we use information can be found in Section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
If you have concerns about the use of our platform, you can always reach out to our Customer Support team through the chat bot on our website. If you have any privacy concerns, you can email privacy@wellthy.com and we'd be happy to help.
Add an extra layer of security to your account by turning on 2-Step verification in Account Settings. With this enabled, you'll sign into Wellthy using something you know (your password) and something you have (a code from the authenticator app on your phone).
Wellthy's fees are fully covered by your health plan. Sometimes there are additional fees when we set up private services and professionals (i.e. transportation, an in-home aide) that are not covered by insurance. We will always provide transparent information and options when there are out-of-pocket costs involved.
We can help with any and all health conditions or needs! We leave treating conditions to doctors and specialists, While we support everything else, including assisting with the administration and logistics (resources, service providers, appointments). We work closely with you, so we can be there every step of the way.
Wellthy is available nationwide in the United States. Since the service is virtual and powered by technology, we can connect and work with people on the East Coast, West Coast, and everywhere in between.
Wellthy's Care Coordinators are mostly social workers by background, and in many cases, have been or are caregivers themselves. They have previously worked at hospitals, insurance companies, and in other clinical settings. Most importantly, they are passionate about working with families to ease their care burdens. We carefully screen and vet all candidates before certifying someone as a Care Coordinator.
Care Coordinators are skilled and trained to help families navigate and manage all aspects of care. Just like enlisting a financial planner to help with your investments or a wedding planner to manage your special day, families should seek expert assistance to help guide them through major care decisions and events. Care Coordinators will put together a game plan and then get things done.
